Our houses offer $50,000 soft second mortgages.
In Dundalk, these soft second mortgages are available exclusively on DRC-renovated homes!

What is a soft second mortgage?

This $50,000 loan from Baltimore County, arranged by DRC, reduces the amount you need to qualify for on your first mortgage (so if the sale price is $160,000, the actual amount of your first mortgage would be $110,000).  The $50,000 loan requires no monthly payments or interest, and is fully forgiven after 15 years.  If you move before 15 years, you pay back a portion of the funds, depending on how long you've owned.

So what do I need to do?
Our soft second mortgages are available for buyers who earn up to 80% of the region's median income level, income limit amount varies by household size.  Homeownership classes required-- ask your homeownership counselor if you meet the income guidelines.
